About The Mahi (Role)

Kickstart and grow your medical administration career by joining our growing team in our new Henderson Clinic as a Clinic Administrator in a full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) role.
You will work alongside highly experienced Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Administrators who make up an effective multidisciplinary team across the Auckland region.
You will be supported by the Henderson Clinic Manager and the Clinic Administration Team Leader. Comprehensive training will be provided upon joining. This is a varied and fun role that you can make your own!
Your day would comprise of tasks such as:
Welcoming patients,
Providing administrative and operational support to the clinic,
Answering queries from referral sources and patients,
Invoicing contracts,
Purchasing clinic supplies,
administration of ACC, Insurer, and third-party admin contracts.

Skills and Experiences:
About You
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a great attitude and can provide excellent customer service!
A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and be part of a busy team are all must-haves. A good knowledge of ACC, accredited employer policies and Gensolve Practice Management is favourable.
Two years of administration experience is desirable but not essential.
To be successful in this role you will have:
A genuine interest in working in healthcare
Computer proficiency skills and accurate data entry
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
An awareness of how to provide top-quality customer service
Excellent customer service with the ability to communicate well internally and externally
An ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
