December 12, 2023 at 11:14 amA charming little school on a slope that leads up from the river. What struck me was the entrance, on the upper side of the grounds just opposite the church. It’s an archway, put up in 1945 to mark the 50th anniversary of the institution…and the end to the war that probably saw local families deeply affected.
